Note that the game has mainly been developed using Steam API, so you won't have some features dedicated to the Steam version like rich presence, achievements, and steam remote play in the future.

Updates of the game will come a little bit later than the Steam version.

Also, you won't be able to get a unique ID to push your dungeon on the server so you will not be able to update an existing dungeon.

Because it's a DRM free version, the game cost a little bit higher.
Consider buying it on Steam if you want to get the lowest price.
